HTML Preview Tool

Preview uses srcdoc plus sandbox="allow-scripts allow-popups allow-downloads allow-modals". Scripts inside the HTML can run, but they do not get the parent origin (allow-same-origin is omitted).

Do not paste untrusted HTML that you would not open as a downloaded file.

  • Public links are viewable by anyone with the URL
  • Password links hide the source until the password is supplied
  • Optional expiry returns HTTP 410 after the timestamp
  • Only the creating session can update or delete a page

Privacy

HTML is stored on the server so the short link can be reopened. Treat diagrams that include internal hostnames or secrets as confidential and use a password or skip publishing.
