Example 1: New Monitor Quality Check

You just received a new monitor and want to verify it before the return window closes.

1. Set monitor brightness to 100%
2. Open the tool in fullscreen mode
3. Run the Color Test through all six colors
4. If you find no issues, run the Gradient Test to check for banding
5. Export a clean report (zero issues) for your records

Example 2: Warranty Claim Documentation

You found a stuck green pixel on your laptop screen.

1. Start a Color Test in fullscreen
2. Navigate to the black color — the green dot should be clearly visible
3. Click the pixel to mark it as a stuck pixel
4. Repeat on white and red to confirm it persists across backgrounds
5. Click Stop Test, then Export Report
6. Attach the JSON file to your warranty claim

Example 3: Checking a Used Display Before Purchase

When inspecting a second-hand monitor in person:

1. Connect it to your laptop
2. Open the tool and run a quick Color Test
3. Spend 10–15 seconds on each color
4. Mark any defects found
5. Use the dead/stuck pixel count to negotiate price

Example 4: Gradient Banding Test

Your display looks fine on solid colors but shows stripes in photos.

1. Switch to Gradient Test mode
2. Run through all eight gradients in fullscreen
3. Look for visible bands or steps in smooth transitions
4. If banding appears, it may indicate a panel quality issue rather than dead pixels

Example 5: Comparing Two Monitors

You have dual monitors and want to check both:

1. Move the browser to Monitor 1, run the full color test, export the report
2. Clear marks, move to Monitor 2, repeat
3. Compare the two JSON reports side by side
