Overview
The Screen Dead Pixel Detector helps you identify display defects before they become a bigger problem. Run solid-color and gradient tests in fullscreen, mark suspicious pixels, and export a JSON report for warranty claims or hardware diagnostics.
Key Features
Color Test Mode
Cycle through six solid colors optimized for pixel detection:
- Red, Green, Blue — reveal subpixel defects
- White, Black, Gray — reveal dead and stuck pixels
Gradient Test Mode
Eight gradient patterns test color uniformity and banding across the display.
Fullscreen Testing
Enter fullscreen mode for pixel-level inspection without UI distractions.
Pixel Marking
Click to mark dead pixels and stuck pixels directly on the test screen. Toggle marks by clicking the same spot again.
Detection Report
Export a JSON report with timestamps, test mode, issue counts, and marked pixel coordinates.
History Tracking
Previous test sessions are saved locally so you can review results later.
What You Can Detect

Getting Started
- Open the Screen Dead Pixel Detector tool
- Choose Color Test or Gradient Test
- Enable Fullscreen Mode for best results
- Click Start Test and inspect each color
- Click suspicious pixels to mark them
- Click Stop Test and export your report
